AGR-seal of approval for GANTER AKTIV
The GANTER AKTIV shoe is awarded the quality seal of the Aktion Gesunder rücken (AGR) e.v.
The quality seal is awarded by the “Gesunder Rücken - besser leben e.V.” forum and the Bundesverband der deutschen Rückenschulen (BdR) e.V.
Only products that are proven to be good for your back are awarded the certificate.
The magazine ÖKO-Test rated the AGR quality seal as “Very good” (1).
Before certification, all products are put through a strict cycle of tests and must prove their suitability to an independent test committee made up of acknowledged experts from the fields of medicine and science.
The committee was convinced by the GANTER AKTIV’s positive effect on the back, and is thus only the second shoe to be awarded the quality seal since the start of the 1990s.
The GANTER AKTIV shoe is recommended as a means of supporting and improving posture – a feature that is also enhanced by its senso-motory influence on posture reflexes.
The wide range of situations for which the GANTER AKTIV is recommended also includes:
- Spinal illnesses in the form of pains in the small of the back radiating into the legs.
- Disorders of the spinal function and accompanying pains such as headache
- Vertebral disc damage and resulting pains in the cervical and lumbar spine.
- Disorders of the spinal cord (caudal root)
- Spinal disorders generally

The certification applies to both the GANTER AKTIV and the GANTER AKTIV with removable footbed and SENSITIV equipment.

(1) The magazine ÖKO-TEST examined numerous quality seals against its guidelines and made some appalling discoveries: some seals are quite simply manufacturer’s indications that are not subject to independent “tests” or constitute a quality guarantee.
The “AGR Geprüft & empfohlen” quality seal of the Aktion Gesunder Rücken e.V. is, on the other hand, exemplary, achieving an overall rating of “Very good”.
