Foot-friendly

What roots are to a tree, feet are to our body. When they are constricted, deprived of air, or neglected, it affects our entire body, including our spine, muscles, posture, circulation, metabolism, blood flow, and respiration.

That's why we should take care of our feet, giving them the care and attention they deserve, and opt for healthy, comfortable shoes.

"Our feet are like the roots of a tree; if they are constrained, it affects the whole body!"

Foot-friendly shoes

Foot-friendly comfort or casual shoes support the foot in its natural function, providing it with natural conditions and a healthy environment.

There are, of course, many types of shoes for various occasions: for work, leisure, and sports. When it comes to athletic shoes, everyone knows how important it is to have the right shoes for different types of movement and various stresses, ensuring they provide feet with support, stability, and enough room to move.

And for everyday wear?

There are also shoes of various types and qualities for everyday use. What distinguishes foot-friendly comfort shoes, and what you should definitely pay attention to when buying shoes you'll find our here:

Perfect Fit

A shoe must fit in length and width. Remember that your foot enlarges throughout the day due to stress. In shoes that are too short, the toes are cramped, causing discomfort with every step. In shoes that are too wide, the foot slips forward. A comfortable shoe that fits the foot properly should be wide at the front, never pointed, as this can deform the foot skeleton.

Learn here how to determine the right size and width.

The Natural Footbed

The footbed must conform to the shape of the foot so that it can provide targeted support and relief. With the right footbed, the feet feel like walking barefoot in nature.

The Flexible Sole

It is important for the shoe to follow the natural movement pattern—from the heel to the ball and further to the toes.

The proper heel height

It is crucial for foot health. High heels can harm the feet because they disrupt the natural, healthy weight distribution of the body on the feet – 2/5 on the ball, 3/5 on the heel. The weight shifts unnaturally onto the ball of the foot, forcing the forefoot to bear the majority of the body's weight. Bones, muscles, tendons, and ligaments cannot sustain this for long, and it has been proven that high heels are triggers for many foot conditions. Therefore, doctors recommend a maximum heel height of 3 cm for daily wear.

Natural Materials

Treat your feet with natural materials. When buying shoes, opt for genuine leather. While leather may be slightly more expensive than synthetic materials, it's worth it. Leather breathes, ensures good air circulation and moisture exchange, thus protecting against wet, sweaty feet and odor problems. Natural materials contribute to a healthy foot climate in comfortable shoes.

Good Craftsmanship

The best way to assess this is with your own eyes. What is the quality of the material? Is it carefully crafted? Are there any seams that could cause discomfort? Don't hesitate to take a closer look.
